- This CD/DVD will install a specific Cen-Tech USB port driver to your Windows-based PC/Laptop/Tablet AND ALSO install the Cen-Tech programs which interface with the Scanner. Only then, will your PC (through the Cen-Tech programs) recognize/detect/access your Scanner when plugged into a USB port.

BlueDriver is a professional diagnostic scan tool and the App is free to install but does require the purchase of the BlueDriver Bluetooth® OBD2 Sensor to communicate with your vehicle. The Sensor is sold separately under the 'More' tab in App or at www.BlueDriver.net. Repair Reports can be generated without purchasing a Sensor by tapping 'Repair Reports' > 'New Report' and entering the VIN and Trouble Code.

Step 1
Locate the diagnostic connector under the dash, to the right of the steering column and plug the code reader or scan tool connector into it. The ignition key should be off when doing this to avoid damage to the scan tool.
Step 2
Turn the key on. Then turn the scan tool on. Many scan tools will automatically link to the system, but if yours doesn't, follow the menu prompts on the screen to link to the system. Refer to the instruction manual that comes with your specific tool for more information.
Step 3
Scroll down to the menu item marked 'Read Codes' or 'Current DTC', and select 'enter'. The scan tool or code reader will display the codes, and in some cases a description of the code and possible causes.
To clear the codes, back out of the 'read codes function' and select 'Clear Code's. A prompt will ask you if you are sure you want to do this, and if you are, then select 'yes'. This is the only way to totally clear codes. Disconnecting the battery will remove them from the current list, but leave them stored as a memory code.
