Driver Tpkd Windows Xp
I've installed Pro Tools 7 LE on my computer but it won't open because it says I need to install a TPkd driver.
The Windows Driver Kit (WDK) Version 7.1.0 is an update to the WDK 7.0.0 release and contains the tools, code samples, documentation, compilers, headers and libraries with which software developers create drivers for Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2003. I have the same problem and i am confuse i try updating the drivers and it said theres no path i dont know what a path is. I also have sonar 8.5 producer and never had aproblem with them since it was just 8 their tech support was great, im thinking of switching back to sonar. Protools 8 m powered is amazing when it worked but now that its not working it is a piece of crap no tech support thats.
Just download it from the PACE website right?
Well I have downloaded the driver, installed and rebooted dozens of times. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Pro Tools on my computer. It won't work!
The Interlok driver doesn't appear in my registry or my device manager no matter how many times I install and reboot. Therefore I have been unable to launch Pro Tools even once.

Thx,
Marc

The software requires installation of device driver tpkd error on launch of Pro Tools
To resolve this issue first try downloading and installing the latest InterLok / PACE drivers by going to:
http://www.paceap.com/
Install the downloaded drivers (tpkd), and restart the computer.
Tpkd Driver Windows 7
You can also try to uninstall and reinstall the drivers.
Uninstall by running the same downloaded installer (tpkd) and selecting the “Remove” option.
If none of these steps solve the issue then you may need to manually remove the driver, then uninstall and reinstall Pro Tools:
Open Device Manager (Control Panel > System > Hardware Tab)
From the ‘View’ menu select ‘Show hidden devices’
Click the + next to ‘Non-Plug and Play Drivers’
Right-click on TPkd and select uninstall
Restart the computer
Use ‘Add or Remove Programs’ (Control Panel) to remove Pro Tools
Upon restart, reinstall Pro Tools by running the installer on the Pro Tools CD
