I've been waiting for years to get this off my chest. So this.. thing happened one time driving with Rosmus circa 2003. He wasn't as smelly back than but still pretty damn stinky. He just ate a big container of Indian food when I met him at the 81' Skylark. He was begrudgingly scribbling away on a clipboard and was already sweating perfusly from some Nagamese pork curry. He looked pissed as f*c*. Come to think of it he did smell like Willowbrook Insane Asylum's adult diaper dumpster. I digress. We started the hour with all the usual Rosmus nonsense: Violent sunvisor slaps, chicken brake slams, games of punch buggy etc. Then it got kinda weird. Rosmus told me we were gonna practice parking up hill. We pulled up some small alley behind Jesus Grocery in French Hill. Rosmus kept looking at his pager and started looking super frustrated like he was late for something. He kept tapping the horn and feverishly sending out pages. He started screaming and was about to reach for something in the glove compartment when all of a sudden 3 Filipino women walked out from behind the store. They looked like disheveled 40 somethings and all of them were wearing some ridiculous leopard skin leather fur miniskirt with fishnets which I thought was off for February. Before I could look back to make sure my hands were still at ten and two to insure I wouldn't get slapped again I realized Rosmus was already out of the Skylark with his pants around his ankles in broad daylight! He had two of the girls up on the hood and was violating them to unspeakable levels. The girls played along but you could tell they had a terrified look of dispair in their eyes. The third girl was just staring at me and was on the phone screaming in another language. Panning back at Rosmus he was violently undjulating like a fish out of water on top of them and realized he locked onto my gaze. He was flipping me off the whole time. Told me 'quit meat gazing and warm up the third one.' I was frozen to the seat. When it was all said and done it seemed like he was trying to pay them in Taco Bell coupons and they were PISSED! He raced back in the car and told me to floor it when they started screaming at him. The second I went 26 in a 25 he slammed on the bake and lectures me for half an hour about the dangers of speeding. When all was said and done he said he couldn't pass me on the count of not using 'LAMB' (Lights, Adjust seats, Mirrors, Belts) when we first entered the Skylark. I've never been able to get a license or have an intimate relationship with a woman. Thanks Hampshire Driving School.

The instructors really cared about my son't driving. They took the time to answer my questions and gave tips for his practice driving. I'm grateful they got his through his begining hours.

I learned so much more than when I was driving with my fatherr. At first I was scared to drive with a total stranger. instructors were kind and didnt yell at me. Totally felt comfortable drivign with Mr Ellis most of all. They showed me how to park and drive on highwauy. Got to learn city driving which was scariest of all. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn driving. The only bummer was no stickshift cars. My class was good. Got to meet alot of new people.

BEWARE OF THIS DRIVING SCHOOL!!! I don't know if they are having financial problems or have an accountant fooling around with company money. My story: -I registered my son for a class. They charged my credit card (cc) immediately. -One week before class was to start, they canceled citing not enough registered and refund is coming. -Ten days later, still no refund in sight. My calls were never returned, but office manager responded to my e-mails telling me it was in the hands of the accountant. -Over the next few days and persistent follow-up, I was told my refund would come by check! (Check? I expected to be credited on my cc, but oh well.) Office mgr was only 'relaying message from accountant'. At this point, I'll take whatever. Money is tight because now I had to register with another driving school (paid in full on first session), and pay my CC bill too! (I could not pay my CC balance because I was out of funds with this double whammy!) -Another week goes by, still no refund check in the mail. Calls are not returned, but office manager e-mail says it's on its way. I ask when exactly was it mailed. After two days, I get response saying 'it was mailed yesterday'. WHAT??? After all my calls, e-mails and persistent follow-ups, they knew I NEEDED that money yet they did not mail that stupid check!!! They were CONSCIOUSLY aware that THEY WERE LYING TO ME about the check being on its way. -Four days later.. still no check in my mailbox. Office mgr says it was mailed. -Finally, almost one month after Hampshire Driving School took my money, a check appears in the mail. And guess what! There is something wrong with it! (good grief) 1 - It is addressed to correct street but wrong town! (On purpose perhaps? A delaying tactic so check wouldn't get to me?) 2 - Check was Paid To: My 15-year-old son! Hello? The credit card you charged was NOT my son's card, why send the refund to my son? ARE YOU FOLKS DUMB??? But then again, it has to be another delaying tactic, perhaps in hopes that the son does not have a bank account to deposit the money into, buying them more time. There is definitely some suspicious activity going on at this business. I am thinking of reporting them to the BBB.

I had a horrible experience with the Drivers Ed class at Conval in Peterborough. The teacher Teena Phillips is the (!!WORST!!) Teacher I have ever had for an instructor. The moment that woman met me she hated me! I came to class 5 minutes early EVERY day I was the first student in that class to get all paper work done for her! Every time I would go for a driving lesson that was for an hour she ALWAYS criticized every move I made. She chucked a black pen at me while I was behind the steering wheel. She made awful comments to me about my driving! She picked favorites at the very beginning and she made me her worst enemy! A driving instructor like that must have major issues either in her life with her family or all of the above. She isn’t experienced enough to teach not just 6 or 9 kids but 18 kids in her class. She always made enough time to teach her favorite students in her class, but yet she never made time to teach any of her other students how to properly drive on the road! She’s not a proper teacher to teach driving classes to minors that have no clue what they’re getting themselves into. A few of my friends that were in the class with me we never got as much attention as the others did and picking favorites from teachers only benefits the favorites leaving the others to suffer and wing everything else on their own. The price at Conval High School was double what it should have been! What a rip off for a driving school class for teenagers! The amount of pressure that is already on teens now a days is worse than ever and now doubling it adding in an instructor claiming to know how to teach TEENS how to drive on the road putting everyone’s life on the line! She picks and chooses when to enforce her “rules” so be careful if you’re not a favorite in her class trust me you will get screwed badly (!WHAT A JOKE SHE IS!) Teena Phillips is a teacher that claims she knows what she’s doing and says shell help you but only if you’re one of her favorites. I’ve never seen a teacher lie straight to a parents face before and have a poker face to add onto it, until now. She lies to a person so easily it’s hard to tell when she’s telling the truth or when it really is a complete lie. It’s very frightening situation with this woman but that’s coming from my family and I. She made me so angry every time I came out of her class. She gave candy to the class but her favorites were the ones that got most of it. That woman didn’t teach me anything but how to open a car door and to turn on the ignition.

I went to this school and they taught me alot. All of the instructors are very nice a patient, I would recommend going here.

I'm an alumnus of this school and I think these comments about Mr. Rosmus are silly. I had basically all my lessons with him because that is all I could schedule and I was terrified because of what everyone had said. He is tough because he wants you to know that driving is serious business and can kill you. He taught me to be a safe driver. I have been driving for four years and have never gotten a ticket. I have been in two accidents, neither were my fault. I think if you act up and get yelled at, then it's your own fault.

I am very upset by the negative comments and yelling going on during driving time. My daughter is afraid to drive with the instructor, he seems mentally abusive. I have asked other students thier opinions and they do not like the teacher either. Don't take the class in Peterborough with Mr. Stilles

This was the best experience I had. They were all very polite and taught me a lot. I really enjoyed my class and instructor.

Mr Ellis is the best ! The overall experience of the school was awesome. I would recommend this place to everyone, it has been around for many years and knows the rules of the road.

The reason why there are negative comments about Mr Rosmus is because he is by the book and strict about driving. He takes a serious approach to driving just as many of the students should but don't.

Based on the number of negative comments about Mr. Rosmus, I'll not be enrolling my daughter in this school. One or two negative comments wouldn't sway me one way or the other but 15-20 sure does!

I am currently enrolled in the school and I must say that I dread going to class every Tuesday and Thursday. The intructors, other than Mr.Geoffroy, are poor and they have screwed up numerous times in the administrative portion of it.

Hampshire Driving school had poor quality cars, books, and Class room. I do not recommend enrolling in this school.

Hampshire Driving school was very bad. The cars were in bad shape and videos and class rooms outdated.All driving instructors were good but mr. rosmus.

i like the school! mrs. imbody is the best but i think that mr. carlton and mr. rosmus should go! they are too mean and don't teach they YELL! and i also don't like how youcan only have 3 hours with one person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! other than that the instructors are great (mr. peabody, mr. geofroy).

Imbody is the best teacher ever. She helped me a lot during my driving hours. She is very patient and doesn't yell at you when you make a mistake, she explains what you did wrong for you to correct it later.She was my favorite teacher there!!!!

all the teachers are kind. I think Mr. Rusmus is quite a patient instructor. Very good! Some instructors yell when I made a mistake, I think it is ok,it's responsible for us. I have learned a lot.

This was a very possitive experiance for me. My favorite instructor was Mr. Rosmus. He made me feel very comfortable in the car and explained everything to me very well. I would highly recomend this school to anyone who is nervous and needs special attention. All of the instructors are very nice and helpful. Classroom was very informative. A very professional inviroment. Thanks to all !

the school was not in the best of conditions but the classes were informative and all ont he teachers except mr romus were helpful he was just a mean person that was upset at the world and has terrible hygene besides that terrible down fall the school was great and the teachers were very lenient and helpful

Overall, I was unimpressed by the faculty and facilities of the driving school. Mr. Rosmus, in particular, acted not only unprofessionally but dangerously. During one of my driving hours with him, he refused to allow me to lower the driver-seat visor for no other reason than to demonstrate his control. Each time I tried to shield the sun from my eyes, he would slam the visor into its original position. It was clear that he would sacrifice not only my safety but other people's safety as well to satisfy his ego.

This school helped my daughter a great deal. She was afraid to drive due to an accident she had been in awhile ago, but with the compassion and professionalism of the staff there she over came her fears
